Overview
The Compensation Analyst provides compensation research and analytical support to internal partners at Red Lobster. This role prepares accurate, detailed analysis, calculations, and reporting, in relation to compensation programs, incentives, and strategic initiatives. This role processes regular compensation changes in employment and provides business partners with guidance on pay structures. In addition, this position will participate in the merit, bonus, and long-term incentives processing, market analysis, surveys and maintenance of compensation related records in our HR systems.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partners closely with HR and organizational leaders to review and process compensation requests.
- Provide guidance to HR and organizational leaders on pay decisions, compensation policies, and pay practices.
- Processes offers of employment, promotions/demotions, and termination packages.
- Ensures personnel records and minimum wage tables are accurately reflected in the HRIS system.
- Prepares statistical analysis, data modeling, cost analysis in support of financial objectives.
- Assists in the processing of merit and bonus cycles.
- Maintain compensation related tables and data in HR Systems
- Updates SOPs and department processes.
- Participates in market surveys.
- Assisting in testing Peoplesoft Upgrades and other system updates in PeopleSoft
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, data modeling and reporting requests.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Solid understanding of compensation structures and methodology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel skills
- Proven experience with analyzing large data sets and producing accurate work
- Knowledge of HR Systems (PeopleSoft a plus)
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid time management skills and ability to juggle multiple work efforts timely
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent follow-through
- Familiarity with compensation surveys and pricing tools
- Experience with salary, hourly, and executive pay
- Demonstrated ability to act professionally with internal business contacts
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related field
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in Compensation or Finance
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience in compensation surveys and pricing tools
- Experience with handling compensation in multiple states (global experience a plus)
